The Dream Space Minecraft Teacher Academy offers professional development for teachers to help them integrate game-based learning using Minecraft Education into their classrooms.
The programme begins with a 3-hour introductory session, available both in person and online. It continues with monthly sessions lasting between 1 and 1.5 hours over a 4-month period. Participants will earn digital badges through MS Learn modules.
This programme runs twice during the academic year and is open to all educators in both formal and informal learning settings. No prior knowledge is required, but access to Minecraft Education is necessary for this course.

The Dream Space Digital Fundamentals Teacher Academy provides teacher professional learning across a variety of STEM and digital programmes. The programme starts with a 3-hour introductory session, available both in-person and online. It then continues with monthly sessions lasting between 1 and 1.5 hours, spanning 4 months.

Session 2: Programming fundamentals
Session 3: Cybersavvy with Cybersecurity
Session 4: AI literacy
This program will run twice across the academic year and is open to all primary and post-primary (second-level and Youthreach) educators. Digital badges will be issued to those who complete the course. No pre-requisite knowledge or specific platform access is required to participate.

Our Dream Space Teacher packages for primary schools contains two 5-week schemes of work for pupils at a beginner (micro:bit) or intermediate level (Arcade). Lessons within this packages are most suitable for 4th to 6th class students.

Lessons within these packages are most suitable for coding or ICT at Junior Cycle; TY Coding or ICT modules as well as at the beginning of the Leaving Cert Computer Science journey.
