Dream Space Ambassador Programme

In Dream Space we believe in the students of today becoming the leaders and innovators of tomorrow. That is why we want to support educators in primary, second-level and Youthreach settings in developing student STEM leaders who can learn valuable skills and knowledge through our Dream Space Ambassador program- our flagship student leadership and training program, delivered by the Dream Space Team.

Programme Overview

The Dream Space Ambassador Program is a flagship student leadership and training initiative, supported by the Dream Space teams in Dublin and Belfast. It is open to schools across the Republic of Ireland (RoI) and Northern Ireland (NI), and is designed for students in both the primary and post-primary sectors, including Youthreach centres.

In the primary sector, it is aimed at 5th Class students (equivalent to Primary 6/7 in NI). In the post-primary sector, it includes TY (Transition Year in the RoI, equivalent to 4th/5th Year in NI), Youthreach and/or Digital Leaders in other education settings. The programme is open to students with a passion for learning and a desire to support, train, and mentor others in STEM education.

Virtual Training Sessions

During the academic year, your chosen Dream Space Ambassadors (max. 10 students) will participate in virtual training sessions delivered by the Dream Space team. Each training session will focus on a different topic related to STEM education. After completing the virtual training, our Dream Space Ambassadors will become pioneers of the Dream Space STEM experience in their school. They will support, train, and mentor other students, teachers, and others in their community helping to bring the benefits of STEM education to all.

Celebrating our Dream Space Ambassadors

At the end of each academic year, we will be celebrating the outstanding work of Dream Space Ambassadors in their school communities, allowing them to proudly showcase all of their hard work across the year.

Our Dream Space Ambassadors are awarded certification of achievement based on our award level system: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. To receive the appropriate certificate, our Ambassadors must meet all criteria for each level. We are proud to recognize and honour our Dream Space Ambassadors for their hard work and dedication to STEM and 21st-century learning skills.
